Our CEO’s Message to Employees on COVID-19

COVID-19 or Conronvirus is spreading, and things may get worse before they get better. The stock market is falling to record lows, and countries are increasing travel restrictions by the day. As a result, the travel and tourism industry is one of the hardest-hit. In speaking to some of our competitors, I have learned of significant layoffs and reductions in hours in businesses all over the City. I know these turns of events bring anxiety over the uncertainty ahead. While I cannot speak for the Government's response to the pandemic, I can speak to ours.

First, your health and safety are most important to me, so we will be announcing some new measures shortly in that regard designed to ensure both you and our clients are protected.

Second, I do not take my responsibility for our team members' ability to earn a paycheque lightly. After your health and safety, that is my most important obligation. A company is only as strong as its people, and I will never put profits before people. That is why we are not planning on initiating any layoffs.

I have said this before, and now it is more important than ever. You get what you give. Show initiative, take responsibility, offer to help, choose to have a positive attitude. In return, come to work in a place that cares about your wellbeing and growth - despite the challenges.

While others cower in the face of adversity, we know that these clouds will pass, and so we continue moving forward and making progress. With everything going on in the world, now is more important than ever that we stick together. I know you will not let each other down and that together we will get through any challenge.
